Symptoms reported vary from model to model, but generally fall in to two groups. Owners of the current models PVR9150T and the PVR9300 report the recorders freeze randomly and users have to unplug the unit from the mains in order to restore normal operation. Also the Guide (EPG) can be slow to load Owners of the existing models PVR9100 are reporting sluggish operation, similar to the batteries being low in the remote handset. Humax had identified changes in the broadcast signal that are causing the above issues. An automatic update of the affected receivers is currently taking place, in order to receive these update please ensure you leave your receiver on standby overnight and do not unplug it from the mains overnight. Currently an update is being sent out for the 9150 and 9300 ; an update for the 9200 is due in early December. Once the update has been carried out you will see a message box suggesting that you perform a default setting, details of that procedure can be found here . Please remember the above symptoms are not due to faulty equipment, but a change in the broadcaster signals, and Humax are working hard with the broadcasters to resolve any issues.
